Description
What is the mind? The mind is made up of glands. The glands burst in this life, and that is called thought. The second part of conscience is the mind. The nature of the mind is to wander. The mind keeps wandering to find happiness. But because all material happiness is destructible, its search never ends. Its wandering ends only when it gets spiritual happiness. Intellect is the indirect light of the soul. Intellect always tells about the worldly profit and loss. Above the senses is the mind, above the mind is the intellect, above the intellect is the ego and above all these is the soul. Intellect listens to either the mind or the intellect and signs as the ego is blind and signs as per the intellect's instructions. As soon as it signs, that work is done in the external system. The ego is a consumer, he does not do anything himself, he just believes that he did it and he becomes the doer at that very moment. All the actions of the conscience are mechanical. The soul does not have to do anything in this. The soul is just the knower, the seer and is in bliss. Only the Gnani Purush remains separate from his conscience. He can describe the truth of the soul only by staying in it. The Gnani Purush Pujya Dadashri has given a very beautiful and clear description of the conscience.
